Linger in Shadows™ is not a game, but rather an experiment into the realm of interactive digital art. Created by a collective of talented artists based in Poland known as Plastic, Linger in Shadows delivers cutting-edge graphics technology and is the first “demoscene” project to ever hit a home console. Bringing this underground digital art culture exclusively to the PLAYSTATION®Network, it delivers a truly unique journey that will challenge and entertain you, and change the way you think about games and art forever.
Dive into the world of Linger in Shadows, where a dark and mysterious creature lingers in the shadows, protecting the ancient Temple on its high perch above the ruined city below. Use the SIXAXIS controller to interact with and manipulate the environment and the very fabric of time and reality.

Someone thought it was a good idea to make a hotel that looks like the Death Star. Looks like a waste of money to me and a dismal effort in replicating the deathstar into something real and to scale.

It’s about time that I posted some news. I have been busy with various bits and pieces the last couple of weeks and have not yet had the time. Actually, I lie.. all the t.v shows starting come out recently ;)

Another reason for the lack of news would be that I bought Wipeout HD from PSN, if your thinking about purchasing this classic revamped title, it will not dissapoint, provided you are not looking for an all new wipeout, with extra, bells and whistles. Wipeout HD is as the title suggests, another wipeout game just with crisper scenery and lush environments, apart from that it runs epic smooth.

If your a Wipeout fan its a must.

Heres a much nicer and complete review.

I bought the Force Unleashed on 360 on the weekend, took me a while to decide between the PS3 and the 360 but as I promised myself that I would only buy exclusive PS3 titles on Sony’s console I decided to get The Force Unleashed on the 360.

Having said that, I got it home and unfortunately was not able to get the game to load, from booting the console with the game inside I received a lockup on the initial 360 load screen. If launching the game from the Live Dashboard, the 360 would hang on the a black screen. So, I returned the game and received a new copy in the assumption that the problem was with the disc itself… same problem. Damnit!

I called 360 support last night and I now have a fully working console again. Repairs over the phone and here is what was done.

- In the 360 dashboard, go to System > Memory. Go through the various menus there like Games, Movies e.t.c and check for any files that have a yellow triangle with an ! in the middle… in the case that you find some…delete them. They are corrupt files.

- Continue through these files until you have checked everyone for any more corruptions.

- Exit back to the dashboard and insert the following controller sequence. X, X, Left Shoulder, Right Shoulders, X, X. This will invoke the system maintenance capability and if you insert the sequence correctly the option to perform system maintenance should cascade from the right of your screen.

- Perform the System Maintenance and then turn off your console manually by pressing the power button.

- Disconnect the ethernet cable and remove the harddrive, and leave the unit powered down in this state for 2 minutes.

- Reconnect the ethernet cable and the harddrive and boot the console.

- Next you need to perform a system update, you can do this in two ways.
1. Launch into a game while signed into Xbox Live, should prompt you to update the system.
2. Perform a Gamercard recovery from the 360 dashboard. Note: Make sure you remember your GamerID authentication details if performing the system update this way.

Voila fixed console!

People say it’s better than the iPhone’s UI. I say.. it looks nice but does it work? To me the Android UI looks like it’s nice to show off to your friends with its beautiful window transitions and the feeling of moving through your phone’s capabilities in its own environment, but also looks like it could easily become cluttered, confusing and painful to get things done in a timely manner.

With that said, time will tell and without a doubt it looks like a attractive operating system for any phone.

The Xbox 360 made an amazing achievement in Japan this week by topping the sales for their console over Nintendo’s Wii and Sony’s Playstation 3.

28681 units were sold compared with 8050 for the Playstation 3 and 27057 for Nintendo’s Wii.

I’m sure there will be a few drinks being had in the Microsoft HQ this weekend ;)

Totally gold!

In a visual sense, demonstrate the difference between CPU and GPU. Only the Mythbusters are up to the task. Proudly support by Nvidia ;)
